Ada Dysart

Ada Radford Dysart, age 86, of Caroleen, died Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Willow Ridge Nursing and Rehab Center.
Born January 5, 1929 in Rutherford County, she was a daughter of the late Horace Radford and Florence Butler Radford. Ada worked for Cone Mills for several years and then for AGI manufacturing for twenty-years before retirement. She enjoyed woodworking and craft work, but most of all enjoyed traveling and camping with her late husband Wade. Ada was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-five years, Wade J. Dysart; three brothers, Robert, Jack and Paul Radford; half-brother, Addie Radford; two half-sisters, Eva Thrift and Mary Helms.
Survivors include two sons, Wade Jr. Dysart and wife, Glenda Kay of Mt. Gilead, NC and Gary Dysart and wife, Linda of Caroleen; one brother, Lester Radford of Forest City. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Barry Dysart, Greg Dysart, Marsha Eason, Jeremy Dysart and Christy Dysart; eight great-grandchildren, Jamie Dysart, Ryan Withrow, Tyler Withrow, Tripp Dysart, Jessica Dodson, Marrisa Dysart, Jared Dysart and Brittany Dysart; two great-great-grandchildren, Maddison Paige Dysart and Emma Grace Withrow.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Ernie Cole officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
