Addie White

Addie Bell Smith White, age 84 of 139 Holly Lane, Forest City, NC passed away Monday, October 22, 2007 at her home. She was born November 9, 1922 in Lincoln County to the late Grover William Smith and Eldee Lovelace Smith Alexander. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years the late Morgan Leroy White. Addie was a retired textile employee having performed many different jobs during her career. She was a member of Crestview Baptist Church. Her other interests and hobbies included writing poems, studying the Bible, fishing and the outdoors. She was a nature lover and loved all of God's creation and she loved her family very much.

Addie is survived by two sons, T. C. White and wife Paulette of Forest City and Grover Carl White and wife Joann of Forest City; three daughters, Joyce White Baker of Suffolk, VA, Pat White Ferguson of Forest City and Cathy White Bradley and husband Dewey of Henrietta; one brother, David P. Smith of Kings Mountain; and two sisters, Joann Story of Kings Mountain and Dicey Mason of Kings Mountain. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
