Aileen Dobbins Cooper, age 96, of Forest City, passed away Friday, September 17, 2021 at her residence. Aileen was born Saturday, May 16, 1925 in Rutherford County to the late Zach Hoyle Dobbins and Ollie Davis Dobbins. She was a homemaker and worked in home healthcare for many years. Aileen always had a heart for others and invested her life in taking care of those who needed help. She was member of the First Baptist Church of Bostic.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Lovelace; grandson, David Henline and nine siblings, J.D. Dobbins, Hazel Bailey, Wilbur Dobbins, Michael Dobbins, Jeanette Gibson, Earl Dobbins, Sybil Rausch, Harold Dobbins and Modine Dobbins.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Sue Cooper of Forest City; two grandchildren, Kay Henline of Grover, NC and Mike Henline (Kim) of Bostic; great-grandchildren, Melissa Henline Jones (Beau) of Chelsea, Alabama, Leah Henline of Ellenboro, Brandon Henline (Amanda) of Shiloh and eight great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Clay Earle officiating. Interment will follow in the First Baptist Church of Bostic Cemetery.
