Albert Dobbins

Albert 'Earl' Dobbins, age 84, of Main Street, Forest City, NC, died Friday, January 13, 2012 at Hospice House of Forest City.
Earl was born April 17, 1927 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Hoyle Dobbins and Ollie Davis Dobbins. He worked for Stonecutter Mills for many years until his retirement and was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Bostic. He loved flower gardening and playing the piano.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Jeanette Gibson, Hazel Bailey, Sybil Rausch and Modene Dobbins; two brothers, J.D. Dobbins and Wilbur Dobbins.
Survivors include two sisters, Aileen D. Cooper and Susan D. Cooper; two brothers, Harold Dobbins and Michael Dobbins all of Forest City. He is also survived by one grandson, Hunter Jolley of Polk County and a number of nieces and nephews.
