Alice Ruppe

Alice Jean Brewer Ruppe, age 49, of Mooresboro, NC, died Friday, March 22, 2013 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.
Alice was born December 14, 1963 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Howard Rodley Brewer and Doris Hamrick Brewer. She was a homemaker, who enjoyed writing poems, playing the piano and taking care of her cats. She loved her family dearly and was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and grandmother. Alice was always there to encourage anyone who needed to be uplifted. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Forest City.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Phillip Dean Brewer.
Survivors include her husband of almost 34 years, Michael Ruppe; two sons, Michael Wayne Ruppe and wife, Crystal of Spartanburg and Justin Ray Ruppe of Mooresboro; two sisters, Irma Bailey of Forest City and Debra Sisk of Shelby, NC; two brothers, David Brewer and wife, Danette of Rutherfordton and Timothy Brewer of Mooresboro. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Rachel Ruppe, Jaymz Ruppe and Keira Woodie.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 25, 2013 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Pherson Weatherman, Reverend Donald Dover, Reverend Mitch Edge and Reverend Ted Blankenship officiating. Interment will follow in Eternal Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
