Amanda Teseniar, age 38, of Forest City, passed away, Friday, October 1, 2021 at Atrium Health-Cleveland in Shelby.
Amanda was born Monday, January 31, 1983 in Rutherford County to Pam Rhodes of Henrietta and the late James Rhodes. She was a graduate of Chase High School, class of 2001. Amanda was the Bakery Manager for Ingles in Spartanburg for twenty-one years. She loved her family and enjoyed taking care of her pets, Ozzy and Daisy. Amanda was an avid, “Nightmare Before Christmas” fan. She was known for her baked goods which included cookies, cakes and pastries.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Lee Teseniar; maternal grandparents, Jack and Nancy Browning; paternal grandparents, Charles and Francis Rhodes and uncles, Frank Browning and Charlie Rhodes.
Besides her mother, those left to cherish her memory include her fiancé, Dustin Vickers of Forest City; son, Timmy Teseniar (Brentlee) of Shiloh; sister, Ginna Ray of Noble, Oklahoma; brother, Jason Rhodes of Henrietta; granddaughter, Sophie Teseniar; goddaughters, Eva Ray and Emory Ray; uncle, Joe Rhodes of Henrietta; aunts, Shirley Browning of Gastonia and Andrea Payne of Henrietta and a host of cousins.
A private celebration of Amanda’s life will be conducted by the family.
