Amber Smith

Amber Smith, age 27, of Spindale, passed away Monday, August 1, 2022, due to a motor vehicle accident.

Amber was born Thursday, July 6, 1995 in Rutherford County. She was graduate of Rutherford Early College High School (REaCH), class of 2012. Amber worked as a CNA for Accordius Health in Rutherfordton and was of the Baptist faith.  She loved her family and was a dedicated mother to her two boys.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Cathy Smith and an aunt, Kimberly Horseman.

Survivors include her two sons, Jaiden Kimbrell and Rylan Scott Smith both of the home; her mother, Crystal Smith (Wyman) of Lexington, SC; father, Dusty Smith (Kristie) of Waynesville, NC; brothers, Jeff Smith (Maria) of Lexington, SC and Dakota Smith (Marie) of Warrenville, SC; sister, Kristina Smith of Warrenville, NC; grandparents, Rev. Gene and Betty Smith of Forest City and Johnny Downey of Bostic.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Gene Smith officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
