Ann Cannon

Ann B. Bostic Cannon, age 88, of Moore Road, Caroleen, NC, died Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at her residence.
Ann was born February 4, 1923 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Ralph Bradley, Sr. and Gertrude Frady Bradley. She worked for Cone Mills for over 40 years before her retirement and was a lifetime member of Florence Baptist Church. She served in the church nursery for over 62 years and was an active member of the Seniors Citizens Class. She enjoyed baking, canning, gardening and taking care of children. She was affectionately called 'Nanny' by all her knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Fred Bostic and Russell Cannon and three brothers, Arthur Bradley, Alan Bradley and Paul Bradley.
Survivors include two sisters, Inez Dale of Forest City, Edith Bain of Caroleen; one brother, Ralph Bradley, Jr. and wife, Marlene of Inman, SC; one son Jimmy Bostic and wife, Wanda of Chiefland, FL; one daughter, Barbara Givens of Hawthorne, FL.; two step-daughters, Mavis Jones, Nadine Scruggs and husband, George all of Forest City; two step-sons, Grady Cannon and wife, Bonnie of Forest City and Don Cannon and wife, Betty of Shelby, NC. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
