Annie Lou Hall Coffey, age 84, of Kelly Road, Forest City, NC, died Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Hospice House of Rutherford County.
Annie was born April 7, 1929 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Baxter Ledford and Mongolie Wheeler Ledford. She worked in textiles for several years and was also a beautician for many years. Annie was member of Crestview Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking, canning, gardening, spending time with her family and reading the Bible.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter Lee Hall and second husband, John C. Coffey; two sisters, Frances Lovelace and Velra Twiggs and one step-daughter, Tanya Aviles.
Survivors include two sons, Terry Byers and wife, Kathy of Ellenboro and Tony Hall and wife, Robin of Ft. Worth, TX; two step-daughters, Denise Crane and husband, Doug of Rutherfordton and Lisa Rome and husband, Brian of Forest City. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Kevin Rohm officiating. Interment will follow in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
