Anthony Spangler, Jr., age 30, of Lee Cudd Road, Rutherfordton, NC, died Sunday, April 7, 2013.
Anthony was born July 15, 1982 in Rutherford County, NC to Tony Spangler and Deborah Hall Spangler both of Forest City. He was a graduate of East High School, class of 2001and worked for TNC Development Corporation as a carpenter. He was of the Baptist Faith and an avid musician who enjoyed fishing, golfing, playing baseball and especially being with his friends and family.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Bobby Ray Spangler, Barbara Jean Spangler, Delores Ann Craft Radinz, Lorraine Burke Hall, Alex Craft; one uncle, Robert Craft and two cousins.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Jill McDonald Spangler of Forest City; three children, Logan McDonald, Jade McDonald and Chase Spangler all of the home; three uncles, Mike Spangler and wife, Mahala of Ellenboro, Dickie Spangler of Forest City and Jack Spangler and wife, Melissa of Shiloh; three aunts, Debra Craft and husband, Bobby of Bostic, Pandora Whelchel and husband, Wayne of Sandy Mush and Lynn Baker of Kentucky and step-grandmother, Marrietta Spangler also of Kentucky. He is also survived by eighteen cousins.
Memorial services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Brian Dill officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
