Arnold Huckabay

Arnold Huckabay, age 76, of Spindale, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021 at his residence.  Arnold was born Friday, October 6, 1944 in Sacramento, California to the late Marvin Eugene Huckabay and Edna Pauline Peters Huckabay. He worked in the food service industry most of his life, which included managing and owning and operating various restaurants. He loved fishing and was an avid NASCAR fan. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Brenda Tjarks (Mike) of Arvada, Colorado and Crystal Walters (Steve) of Rutherfordton; two brothers, David Huckabay and John Huckabay both of California and two sisters, Naomi McGuire and Alvina Self both of Oregon. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Michaela Lopez, Cody Naeb and a great-grandchild, Bristol Naeb.

A private celebration of Arnold’s life will be conducted for family and friends.
