Ashley Felker

Ashley Felker, age 31, of Forest City, passed away Friday, April 29, 2022 at her residence.

Ashley was born Friday, August 17, 1990 in Spartanburg, SC. She was a graduate of Chase High School, class of 2008 and earned a Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate from Isothermal Community College. Ashley enjoyed making jewelry and reading books. Her favorite authors were Terry Brooks and Kay Hooper.  Ashley loved the beauty of the Fall season and adored her fur babies, Frankie and Nala.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and by two beloved cousins, Shaun Dale and Hunter Dale.

Left to cherish her memory are her fiancé, Benjamin Paul Williams of Forest City; mother, Karen Keck (Mike) of Rutherfordton; father, Michael Felker (Cathy) of Iowa; a best friend and “sister”, Rebekah Litten of Louisville, Kentucky;  stepbrothers, Corey Keck (Alison) of Bostic and Cody Keck (Lindsey) of Rutherfordton; aunt, Debbie Dale of Rutherfordton; special friends, Robert Wilkie of Ellenboro, Ashley Reid of Cliffside and Amanda Bellina of Lexington, NC; special cousin, Gary Dale (Jennifer); three half-brothers, Michael, Jason and Brian Felker and a half-sister, Valerie Cohen. She is also survived by a nephew, Cooper Keck, niece, Sarah Keck and cousin, Cater Dale.

A gathering of family and friends to honor Ashley will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Harrelson Funeral Home.
