Audrey Allmond

Audrey Burgess Allmond, age 65, of 176 Wilkie Street, Forest City, NC passed away Saturday, March 29, 2008 at the Rutherford Hospital. She was born July 23, 1942 in Rutherford County to the late Elvert Harding Burgess and Corrie Lucille Ruppe Burgess. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Marshall Leonard Allmond. She was a member of the New Harvest Church. She was a homemaker who loved animals and cooking and was a collector of porcelain dolls.

Mrs. Allmond is survived by two sons, Mike Allmond of Forest City, NC and John Allmond of Mooresboro, NC; two sisters, Janie Lewis and husband Ed of Ellenboro, NC and Ocie Holcomb of Spindale; one grandson, Tim Allmond of Forest City, NC and several nieces and nephews.
