Barbara Jolley

Barbara G. Jolley, age 70, of Cliffside, died Monday, February 26, 2018 at the Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.
Born June 16, 1947 in Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late A.L. Gettys and Virginia Wise Gettys. She was a graduate of East Rutherford High School, class of 1965. Barbara was a cook for several local restaurants which included the Shake Shop, Hardees and Spakes. She most recently attended Corinth Baptist Church and loved taking care of her pets, growing flowers and working word search puzzles.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Annette Jolley.
Survivors include her husband of forty-nine years, Donald R. Jolley; two daughters, Tracy Jolley of Ellenboro and Chrissy Radford and husband, Chad of Cliffside; one son, Donald R. Jolley II and wife, Cindy of Forest City. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Donna Jolley, Brittany Reid, Ray Swink, Mandy Swink, Stacey Swink and four great-grandchildren, Reagan Hensley, Mikey Reid, Parker Reid and Nicholas Swink.
Mrs. Jolley will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Harrelson Funeral Home. At other times the family will be gathered at 241 Cliffside Street in Cliffside.
