Barbara Camp Atchley

Barbara Camp Atchley, age 76, of Ellenboro, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at her residence.

Barbara was born August 20, 1944 in Rutherford County to late J.W. “Buck” Camp and Mildred Biggerstaff Camp. She was graduate of Ellenboro High School, class of 1962 and co-owned and operated Century 21 Realty for thirty years. Barbara was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church. She was an enthusiastic “Maw-Maw” to her granddaughter, Emma. Barbara loved her family dearly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Camp and two brothers-in-law, Marshall and Kenneth Atchley.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of fifty-three years, Ron Atchley; daughter, Angie Atchley Dalton (Jeff) of High Point; granddaughter, Emma Elizabeth Wellborn and sister-in-law, Carolyn Camp of Ellenboro.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the Oak Grove UMC Cemetery with Reverend Chris Glawson officiating.
