Bethel Price

Bethel Mae Price, age 90, of Forest City, NC, died Monday, January 3, 2011 at Rutherford Hospital.
Bethel was born on June 16, 1920 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Robert M. Price and Minnie Greene Price. She was a longtime member of Alexander United Methodist Church and had worked for Fieldcrest Mills most of her life before her retirement. She enjoyed crafts, working at Vacation Bible School and going to flea markets.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Virgil Price and W.T. Price; three sisters, Mary Berryhill, Eunice Suttle and Frances Waters.
Survivors include her son, Michael J. Price and wife, Joyce of Jacksonville, NC; one sister, Evelyn Wilkins of Forest City; one brother, Bruce Price of Forest City; two grandsons, Andy Price and Tim Price both of Las Vegas, NV; six great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by three children whom she cared for, Kiana Burns, Asia Burns and Rochelle Burns.
