Betty Beheler

Betty Jo Tipton Beheler, age 84, of Forest City, NC, died Monday, September 28, 2015 at her residence.
Born November 3, 1930 in Polk County, she was a daughter of the late Baxter Tipton and Alice Smith Tipton. She enjoyed gardening, quilting and was an avid Rummy player.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Jack Tipton and sister, Marge Tipton Davis.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Beheler; four children, Billy Beheler of Rutherfordton, Debbie Gowan of Sandy Mush, Mike Beheler and wife, Susan all of Forest City, and Bobby Beheler of Sandy Mush; two sisters, Lynn Morrow of Bostic, Nancy Arrowood of Chase Community and brother, Tommy Tipton of Forest City. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
A memorial will be held at Harrelson Funeral Home from three o'clock until five o'clock Thursday, October 1, 2015. A private graveside service for the family will be conducted at the Broad River Baptist Church Cemetery after the memorial.
