Betty Conner

Betty Conner, age 70, of High Peak Road, Forest City, NC, died Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Fair Haven Home.
Betty was born August 28, 1941 in Grayson County, Virginia to the late Paul Blackwell and Virginia McMickle Blackwell. She worked for Broyhill Furniture for over 20 years before her retirement and enjoyed being a homemaker. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She attended Forest City Foursquare Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Conner and brother, Gerald Blackwell.
Survivors include two sons, Ronnie Cox and Rev. Dean Cox and wife, Tammy all of Forest City; two daughters, Jackie Hudson and husband, Bobby of Union Mills and Billie Jo Weathers of Spindale. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
