Betty Ann Cooper, age 67, of Barbara Street, Forest City, NC died Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at the Hospice House of Rutherford County.
Born August 16, 1946 in Rutherford County, NC, she was a daughter of the late Boyce Morrow and Nina Mae Jenkins Morrow. She was a graduate of East High School, class of 1964 and worked for Cone Mills for thirty-two years. She attended the Missionary Wesleyan Church and enjoyed growing flowers and doing yard work.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Summer DeBreeze.
Survivors include her husband of forty-eight years, Paul Arnold Cooper; daughter, Teri Ledford and husband, Time Medley of Gaffney, SC; three sons, Paul Trevor Cooper and wife, Annette of Spindale, Duane Cooper and wife, Renea Young of Cliffside and Kip Allen Cooper and wife, Alicia of Forest City; three sisters, Shirley Turner of Forest City, Kathy Horton of Spartanburg, Jackie Clayton of Marion and brother, James Morrow of Ellenboro. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 11, 2013 at the Morrow Curve Cemetery with Reverend Johnny McCarty and Chaplain Cecelia Beck officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
