Betty Lancaster

Betty J. Lancaster, age 54, of 201 Hollywood Street, Forest City, NC, died Thursday, April 23, 2009 at Hospice House.
Betty was born in Wichita, Kansas on September 7, 1954 to the late Kenneth Myers and Delores Roberts Myers. She worked at Rutherford Hospital as a Registered Nurse for 15 years and was a member of Sandy Mush Baptist Church. She enjoyed bowling, taking pictures, outdoor activities and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Charles Myers.
Survivors include her husband, Stanley Lancaster; two sons, Randy Martinez and his wife, Heather of Forest City and Miguel Martinez and his wife Hebeluz of Seymour-Johnson Air Force Base in North Carolina; two daughters, Michelle Lancaster of Rutherfordton, and Jennifer Lancaster of Forest City; four grandchildren, Gage Martinez, Lucas Martinez, Benjamin Martinez, and Jonathan Martinez; two brothers, Gary Myers of California and Robert Myers and his wife Betty of Bakersfield, California; three sisters, Marilyn Mulford and her husband Lee Willis of Techachapi, California, Carolyn Havener and husband Terry of Bakersfield, California and Janice Hubbard and husband Jim of Fresno, California.
