Betty Luckadoo Wall, age 70, of Forest City, NC, passed away Saturday, March11, 2017 at the Hospice House of Rutherford County.
Born December 21, 1946 in Rutherford County, she was a daughter to the late Albert Luckadoo and Viola Silvers Luckadoo. Betty was a graduate of Chase High School, class of 1965 and worked for Cone Mill-Haynes Plant for twenty-five years before retirement. She was a member of Haynes Memorial Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening and crafts. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Hugh Radford and sister, Barbara Wingard.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of thirty-two years, Wayne Wall; son, Chad Radford and wife, Chrissy of Cliffside and daughter, Dana Radford and significant other, Derek Gregory; three sisters, Sarah Moore and husband, Bob, Mary Porter and husband, James and Pam McCraw and husband, Dale all of Mooresboro. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Trae Greene, Eric Parker, Donna Jolley, Brittany Reid and David Gregory; three great-grandchildren, Michael Reid, Parker Reid and Reagan Hensley.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the Caroleen First United Methodist Church with Reverend Lucy Robbins officiating. Interment will follow in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
