Betty Wilkie

Betty Davis Wilkie, age 80, of Mooresboro, NC, died Friday, September 16, 2011 at Wendover Hospice of Cleveland County.
Betty was born August 4, 1931 in Spartanburg County, SC to the late Clemon Davis and Ilar Smith Davis. She worked for Cone Mills as an inspector for 38 years before her retirement and was a member of Fairview Missionary Methodist Church. She loved decorating her home.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Loyd Wilkie and two brothers, Grover Davis and Charles Davis.
Survivors include one son, Ed Wilkie and wife, Jean of Mooresboro; one brother, Paul Clemon Davis of Rutherfordton and a special family friend, Jeff Greene of Mooresboro.
