Beulah Beheler Blanton, age 87, of Rutherfordton, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.
Beulah was born Friday, June 9, 1933 in Rutherford County to the late Dewey Beheler and Girlie Wilson Beheler. She worked for Stonecutter Mill for forty-three years and was an Associate at Wal-Mart for over twenty-years. Beulah was a longtime and faithful member of Gray’s Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and sewing and loved her family dearly.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Blanton; three sisters, Helen Hensley, Minnie Cole, Julia Byers; three brothers, John Thomas Beheler, Jimmy Beheler and Junior Beheler.
Those left to cherish her memory include a son, Mickey Blanton (Malay); a granddaughter, Brandy Brooks and grandson, Donald Blanton all of Cliffside; two sisters, Joann Jones and Colleen McGill both of Forest City. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, Katie Blanton, Benjamin Blanton and Austin Brown.
In honor of Beulah’s wishes, no formal services will be conducted. A private interment will take place at Gray’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
