Billy Cole

Billy Cole, age 69, of Forest City, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at the Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

He was born Wednesday, November 19, 1952 in Rutherford County to the late Bryson Henry Cole and Eula Howard Cole.

Billy was preceded in death by two brothers, Tom Doggett and Arthur “Red” Doggett: two sisters, Joan Johnson and Donnis Murray.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of thirty-two years, Janice Moore Cole; three daughters, Diane Yelton, Sara Cole (Jesse), Leah Lucas (Jeffery); sister, Marion Hopper (Lannie); three grandchildren, Alyssa Caldwell (Zac), Bryson Yelton, Knox Lucas; and a great-grandchild, Khloee Caldwell, also, Bobby Reece who he considered a brother.

Billy loved the Lord and attended Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church.  He was a loving husband, father, pawpaw and brother.  Billy was blessed to have spent the last twenty-four years with his loyal customers whom he considered family.

There will always be a void in this world, missing of his humor, witty comments, funny stories and wild hair.  The motorcycle world lost a legacy that will never be forgotten.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 pm on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at the Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church with Reverend Chad Sisk officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00 pm on Friday at the funeral home.
