Billy Moore

Billy Joe 'Gypsy Man' Moore, age 47, of Forest City, died Sunday, August 17, 2008 at the Hospice House. A native of Rutherford County he was a son of the late Bobby Moore and Mary Frances Butler Moore. He was a painter by trade and a member of Cooper Springs Congregational Holiness Church. Billy was an avid CB radio operator and everyone knew him by his handle name, 'Gypsy Man.'
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Bertha Moore; four sons, Bobby Joe Moore and his wife Jennifer of Forest City, Jimmy Isaac Moore and his wife Amanda of Forest City, Chris Lee Moore of Ft. Bragg, NC and Michael Adam Moore of Forest City; two daughters, Candy Louise Moore and Hailey Danniel Moore both of the home; two sisters, Helen Morrow and her husband Ken and Elizabeth Couch and her husband Harland all of Forest City; one brother, Jerry Moore and his wife Tonya of Mooresboro,NC. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Drake Ryan Willis and Keaton Channon Deviney.
