Billy Ruff

Billy Ruff, age 27, of Clark Road, Rutherfordton, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Born July 19, 1988 in Cleveland County, he was a graduate of R-S Central High School, class of 2007. He was a past member of Green Hill Baptist Church and a current member of Harriett Memorial Free Will Baptist Church. Billy loved working as a Lieutenant and a volunteer for the Green Hill Fire Department. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and especially spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all those who loved him.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Helen Hampton.
Survivors include his father, Julian "Bud" Donald Ruff, Jr.; mother, Rhonda Hampton Ruff Pullen; step-father, William Dale Pullen; sister, Harley Cheyenne Ruff all of Rutherfordton; maternal grandfather, William Lee "Bill" Hampton of Green Hill; paternal grandparents, Julian "Bud" Donald Ruff, Sr. and Donna Ruff also of Rutherfordton.
Funeral services will be conducted at four o'clock on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at the Green Hill Baptist Church with Rev. John Bridges, Dr. Bob Morgan and Mr. Don McEntire officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery with a committal service officiated by Rev. Billy Poe Jones. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church.
