Billy Wilson

Billy Charles Wilson, age 84, of Lake Lure, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Hospice House of Rutherford County.
Born September 11, 1933 in Rutherford County, he was a son to the late Harold Wilson and Bessie Elliot Wilson. Billy worked thirty-five years as a supervisor for Communication Instrument. He was of Baptist faith and was a United States Army veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Georgia Cofer; and two brothers, J. Paul Wilson and Buddy William Wilson.
Those left to cherish his memory include one son, Billy Charles Wilson, II; two step-daughters, Cindy Holcombe, Kim Durham; one sister, Faye Rayner; and one brother, Harold Wilson, Jr. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Emily Ann Wilson, Kenly Sue Wilson; and one great-granddaughter, Raighlyn Alaine James.
Services are private.
