Bobby Dean Bryant, age 72, of State Line Road, Mooresboro, died November 25, 2014 at the Hospice House of Rutherford County.
Born August 2, 1942 in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late Thomas Matthew Bryant and Lishey Kennedy Bryant. Bobby was a graduate of Chase High School, the first graduating class of 1960 and served in the Army National Guard for several years. He worked as a loom fixer for Stonecutter Mills for eighteen years and then worked at Able Machine-Hydraulics & Plating Inc. in Taylors, SC for thirty years before retiring. He attended Temple Baptist Church and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Nathan Daniel Bryant; sister, Leola Lail and brother, L.J. Bryant.
Survivors include his loving wife of forty-seven years, Gloria Hollifield Bryant; one daughter, Linda Kwasniewski and husband, Rick of Gaffney, SC; three sisters, Lillie Mae Butler and husband, Ware of Gaffney, Irene Hines and husband, Marlin of Spartanburg, SC and Gennell Burgess and husband, Alfred also of Gaffney.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 28, 2014 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Pastor Larry Laws officiating. Interment will follow in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until service time at the funeral home.
