Bobby Pruett

Bobby Pruett, Sr., age 71, of 190 Bradley Loop Road, Ellenboro, died Thursday, January 29, 2009 at Rutherford Hospital.
He was born on March 5, 1937 in Rutherford County to the late Carmel Pruett and Mattie Hill Pruett. He was a long-time member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church and served our country in the United States Air Force for ten years. He had worked for Burlington Mills as a dryer operator before his retirement. He also enjoyed painting houses.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Linda R. Pruett; one son, Bobby Pruett, Jr. and his wife, Beverly, of Six Points; two daughters, Melissa Haubrich and her husband, Brad, of Keller, TX and Carla Pruett of Durham, NC; four brothers, Carl Pruett, Charles Pruett, Billy Pruett, and Ray Pruett; three sisters, Dorothy Pruett, Lois Doggett and Janice Brown; eight grandchildren, Allison Wall, Hanna Wall, Noah Glass, Rosa Glass, David Hurlbert, Lyndsay Tuten, Aaron Tuten and Linita Pruett and his beloved pet, Sweetie.
