Bobby “Ozark” Lovelace, age 84, of Henrietta, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills. Bobby was born Thursday, June 3, 1937, in Cleveland County to the late Robert Jefferson Lovelace and Clara Byars Lovelace. He worked for Sun Drop Bottling and Distribution Incorporated for forty years before retirement. Bobby was a member of Temple Baptist Church. He enjoyed various outdoor sports which included fishing, golfing and hunting. Bobby also enjoyed going to the Rutherford County Senior Center to shoot pool and play cards. He loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by each one.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Parker; two brothers and two sisters.
Those left to cherish his memory include is his loving wife of fifty-six years, Teresa Moore Lovelace; five grandchildren, Nina Parker, Gina Parker, Phillip Parker (Madeline), Rachel Parker and Emilee Parker; three great-grandchildren, Sophie Smithey, Phillip Michael Thomas Parker and Jackson Parker; son-in-law, Michael Parker of Henrietta. He is also survived by five sisters, Cat Deaton of Mooresboro, Lillie Mullinax (Melvin) of Gaffney, Pat Lovelace of Mooresboro, Debbie Hyink (Richard) of Jacksonville, FL, Jean Godfrey (Randall) of Chesnee and a brother, Jimmy Lovelace (Karen) of Chesnee.
A celebration of life/gathering will be held from 5:00 until 8:00 pm on Thursday, July 1, 2021, at Harrelson Funeral Home.
