Brenda Buckner

Brenda Joyce Buckner, age 68, of Ellenboro, NC, died Friday, September 30, 2011 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.
Brenda was born on November 24, 1942 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Pat Vickers and Sarah Louise McFalls Vickers. She worked in textiles most of her life, having worked for Stonecutter Mill and retired from Burlington Industries. She was a member of Joshua Baptist Church and was attending Grace Baptist Church. She loved reading her Bible.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Buckner and one daughter, Carla Thompson.
Survivors include one son, Joseph Ballesteros II and wife, Lisa of Henrietta; four daughters, Rosina Suzanna Hall of California, Diana Renee Ballesteros Jennings of California, Melissa Dawn Wood of Forest City, Tracy Michelle Railsback of Nebraska; two brothers, Charles Vickers of Ellenboro and Rodger Vickers of Henrietta; one sister, Betty Smith of Caroleen and special friends, Robert and Cathy Guffey of Ellenboro. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
