Brenda Blanton Self

Brenda Self, age 61, of Mooresboro passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.

Brenda was born Tuesday, October 18, 1960 in Rutherford County to the late Gene Blanton and Maudie Wishion Blanton. She was a dedicated homemaker for her family. Brenda’s love was taking care of and raising children. She also enjoyed being outdoors.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, James Blanton; daughter, Glenda Blanton and two brothers, J.R. Blanton and Billy Blanton.

Left to cherish fond memories are her husband, Kenneth Self; daughters, Dale Blanton and Linda Earley (Mikey) all of Henrietta; two sisters, Barbara Bullman of Mooresboro and Ruth Ramirez (Jose) of Spindale; brother, Roy Blanton of Spindale.  She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, Jacob Robbins, Glenda Robbins, Jaylen Blanton, Jacoby Blanton, Gavin Blanton, Storm Earley, Sierra Earley, Mikey Earley, Arrebella Blanton, Cody Richardson, Savannah Earley, Alicia Earley and great-granddaughter, Ava.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, April 25, 2022 at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery with Reverend Sam Ramsey officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside.
