Brenda F. Salmon

Brenda F. Salmon, age 78, of Forest City, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2021 at her residence. Brenda was born Thursday, October 22, 1942 in Fayetteville, NC to the late Homer Frazier and Ruth Clark Frazier. She worked at Fast Foods Inc. in administration for many years before retirement. Brenda was also a Certified Nurses Assistant and was a caregiver for fifteen years. She was of the Christian faith and had a caring heart for others. She enjoyed reading, flower gardening and feeding birds. She especially loved taking care of her grandson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her lifelong companion, Alvin Frady and a brother, Mickey Frazier.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Stephanie Salmon Mitchell of Forest City; sister, Norma Jean Holland of Fayetteville, NC; grandson, Brandon Tyler Mitchell of Forest City and a nephew, Kevin Deadwyler of Fayetteville. She is also survived by special friends, Max Jones, Jenny Jolly, Dillon Dease (Lindsey), Devern Upton and her special pet dog, Copper.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm, Thursday, April 22, 2021 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Tony Clements officiating. Interment will follow in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
