C. Cole

C. Beecher Cole, age 85, of 141 Prancer Way, Rutherfordton, NC, died Saturday, July 18, 2009 at Hospice House.
A native of Rutherford County, he was a son of the late Birch T. Cole and Texie Splawn Cole. He had worked 35 plus years for Dover/Doran Textiles as a smash hand before his retirement. He was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church and was an avid gardener.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Spurgeon Cole.
Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Jenny S. Cole; four sons, Ronald Wayne Cole and his wife, Benita, of Lewisville, NC, Larry Bruce Cole and his wife, Phyliss, of Rutherfordton, Charles Wayne Evans and his wife, Rhonda, of Rutherfordton and Roger Dale Evans and his wife, Angela, of Forest City; one brother, Theron Cole of Forest City; eight grandchildren, Daniel Cole, Emily Cole, Lacey Laws, Kristie Bibler, Brian Evans, Roger Nelson Evans, Britni Wood and Brandi Gowan; five great grandchildren, Robbie Evans, Eric Bibler, Garrett Evans, Jacob Evans and Kinsley Evans.
