Carolyn Hill

Carolyn H. Hill, age 84, of Forest City, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2020 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.

Carolyn was born on April 23, 1936 in Rutherford County to the late Otho Honeycutt and Mary C. Jenkins Honeycutt. She worked for Cone Mills-Caroleen Plant for many years and was a member of Temple Baptist Church. Carolyn’s favorite pastime was spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed taking trips to Maggie Valley and going to church. She loved her family dearly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Oren Hill; son, James “Fat Cat” Hill and two sisters, Marilyn Branch and Kathey Moorhus.

Those left to cherish her memory include a granddaughter, Angie Cuzco of Forest City; great-granddaughters, Apple Romero and Celia Hernandez; daughter, Terri Stewart (Wayne) of Forest City; two granddaughters, Jamie and Rebecca Hill and a brother-in-law, Albert Moorhus of the Shiloh Community.

A private funeral service will be conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Mike Cash officiating.
