Carolyn Thompson

Carolyn Thompson, age 65, of Bostic, NC, died Monday, April 26, 2010 at Rutherford Hospital.
Carolyn was born on July 9, 1944 in Rutherford County to the late Sell Horace McDaniel and Ruby Louise Stacy McDaniel. She had worked in textiles for many years and recently had worked at Fairhaven Home as a housekeeper. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church of Cleveland County and enjoyed shopping, family gatherings and especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Bob Thompson; two daughters, Amy Burgess and husband, Danny Propst of Green Hill and Tracy Trevitz and husband, Aaron Taylor of Bostic; four grandchildren, Tyler Thompson, Chad Burgess, Brad Burgess and Drake Trevitz; one sister, Linda Whitaker and husband, Kenneth, of Lattimore, NC; one nephew, Terry Whitaker and two nieces, Kelly Whitaker and Jessica Whitaker.
