Cathy England

Cathy Hipp England, age 50, of Barbara Street, Forest City, passed away Monday, August 27, 2018 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.
Born September 29, 1967 in Haywood County, NC, she is the daughter of Patsy Waters Hipp who resides in Rutherfordton and the late Albert Hipp. She was a graduate of East Rutherford High School, class of 1985 and worked as a cashier in retail sales for many years. Cathy was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed shopping. Cathy's family was her priority along with helping her neighbors.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Terrell Hipp.
Besides her mother, she is survived by two sons, Rusty England of Polk County and Holden Hipp (Jessica) of Forest City; two sisters, Patricia Hipp of Morristown, Tennessee and Mary Jane Capp of Hendersonville; two brothers, Ray Hipp of Rutherfordton and Mike Hipp of Hendersonville. She is also survived by four granddaughters, London Alexander, Charlie Hipp, Iris England, Kylee England and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 31, 2018 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Mr. Danny Pearson officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
