Charles Bradley

Dewey Bradley, age 73, of Forest City, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Spartanburg Regional Hospital.

Dewey was born Saturday, December 6, 1947 in Rutherford County to the late George Dewey Bradley and Ruth Vickers Bradley.  Dewey served honorably as a Sergeant in the US Air Force during Vietnam.  He worked for Carquest for forty-six years and loved spending time with his family and friends.  Dewey grew up in the Henrietta community. He was a member of First Baptist Church Henrietta. Dewey was an avid Daisy BB Gun collector.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Ray Bradley.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of forty-seven years, Cathy White Bradley; daughters, Lynn McClain (Steven) of Ellenboro, Rhonda Goode (Jack) of Forest City; sisters, Renee Smart (Jimmy) of Mooresboro, Paulette Saunders of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Lyndsie Simmons, Alaina Goode, Addie Goode, Payton McClain, Caroline McClain all of Forest City; also, special nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at the Grace Chapel Four Square with Reverend Ricky Poteat officiating.  Interment will follow at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery with military honors being accorded by the Rutherford County Honor Guard.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
