Charles Clark

Charles "Doc" Clark, age 68, of Forest City, died December 18, 2015 at his residence.
Born November 16, 1947 in Rutherford County, he was a son of the late Henry Clark and Uerey Lourainey Mace Clark. Doc worked for Schneider Mills in Alexander for many years and was a member of the Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church. His life revolved around his children and grandchildren and he enjoyed fishing and doing yard work.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, three brothers and grandson, Charles Anthony Clark, Jr.
Survivors include his wife of forty-eight years, Margaret Clark; two daughters, Ginger Clark of Forest City and Jamie Edwards and husband, Joe of Gilkey; son, Charles Anthony Clark and wife, Heather of Bostic. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Amanda Hartford, Brooke Murray, Megan Clark, Caleb Clark, Carson Clark, Shala Edwards, and J.C. Edwards; two great-grandchildren, Hannah Hartford and Brayden Hartford.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock in the afternoon on Sunday, December 20, 2015 at the Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church with Reverend Leon Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to service time at the church.
