Charles Loper

Charles Robert 'Bob' Loper, age 78, of 795 Spindale Street, Spindale, NC died Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Hospice of Rutherford County. He was born August 29, 1933 in Connersville, Indiana to the late Charles Carlton Loper and Mary Rhinehart Loper. He was a former supervisor with Stonecutter Mills in Spindale and a former employee of Wal Mart. Charles was a Vietnam veteran having served in the US Navy.

Charles is survived by his wife, Peggy Joanne Loper of the home, one daughter, Bobbie Jo Morris of Mooresboro, NC; two sons, Roby Loper of Mooresboro, NC and Charles 'Chuck' Loper, II of San Antonio, TX; two brothers, Francis Loper of CA and Bill Loper of FL; two sisters, Shirley Nobbe and Brenda Loper, both of Indiana. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
