Charles "Allan" Toms

Charles “Allan” Toms, age 57, of Forest City, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Atrium Mercy-Charlotte.  Allan was born Saturday, April 11, 1964 in Rutherford County to the late Sarah “Judy” Pruett. Allan was a loving son, brother, father, uncle, friend and most of all a grandfather. He dedicated himself to his kids and grandkids. He loved being a grandfather and would joke saying his favorite name of all was, “Paw Paw.”

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Billy Pruett.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Jamilah Toms (Brian) and Darrian “D.J.” Toms (Michael) all of Rutherfordton; his son, Gregory Toms of Forest City; brother, Daniel Toms of Spindale; sister, Lisa Babb (Berry) of Forest City; his grandbabies, Suzanna, Elizabeth, Julieana, Michael Jr., Autumn, Alexander and Rylee. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Richard Toms, April Toms, Jonathon Toms, Nicky Dobbins, Danny Toms, James “J.J.” Smith and Brittany Keeter.

A gathering of family and friends will be conducted from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Harrelson Funeral Home.
