Charlie Hill

Charlie Gene Hill, age 50 of Aydlotte Road, Rutherfordton, NC passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at the Rutherford Hospital. He was born December 25, 1956 in Forest City to Olive John Hill and Pearl Frankie Street Hill. Charlie attended Congregational Holiness Church in Rutherfordton and had previously worked as a tree trimmer. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Danny Hill and Johnny Hill.

Survivors include his parents, Jay and Pearl Hill of Forest City, his wife, Ruby Hill of the home; one daughter, Shelley Hill of Rutherfordton; a stepdaughter, Wanda Fowler of Rutherfordton; a stepson, Steve Rumfelt of Rutherfordton; one brother, Jimmy R. Hill and wife Jean of Cliffside; three sisters, Martha Parker of Cliffside, Barbara Elliott of Tennessee and Alisa Bradley and husband Roy of Bostic. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, Tyler, Bobby, Austin, Breanna, Chuck, Morgan, Dillon, Noah, Cassidy, Stevie M'Lynn, and Samantha.
