Cheryl Evans Burnham, age 60, of Forest City, NC, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 at her residence.
Cheryl was born February 16, 1958 in Rutherford County, NC and was a daughter of the late Charles Evans and Dorothy Bradley Evans. She worked for Cone Mills for almost twenty years and as a manager of One Stop. She most recently worked for Wal-Mart. Cheryl was a member of Grace Missionary Methodist Church. She was an avid gamer and a "Clash of Clans" enthusiast.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Belinda Dale Ensley and an infant brother, Charles Wayne Evans.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, David Burnham; three sons, Jerry Alexander of Forest City, Charles Alexander and wife, Janice of Chicago and Christopher Alexander of Rutherfordton; two brothers, Randy Evans (Sharon) of Forest City and Danny Evans (Belinda) of Bostic and a sister, Donna Morrow (Jeffery) of Forest City. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, Marah, Jerrica, Jerry Doston, CJ, Charlie, Eric, Dakota, Jacob, Cheyenne, Alex and a great-grandson, Archer.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Grace Missionary Methodist Church with Reverend Tony Rayfield officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
