Cheryl Carson

Cheryl Rene Carson, age 50, of Spindale, NC, died Sunday, October 6, 2013 at the Hospice House of Rutherford County.
Born July 19, 1963 in Polk County, NC, she was a daughter of the late Charles Carson, Jr. and Kathryn Turner Carson. Cheryl was a graduate of Clyde A. Erwin High School in Asheville, class of 1981. She worked as a waitress for Sisk Grill, Nautilus Sub Shop and the Mustang II Deli. She enjoyed yard sales, Facebook, cooking, spending time with her animals and collecting movie memorabilia.
Survivors include four daughters, Kristen Houser of Rutherfordton, Amanda Kiser, April Kiser and Alexis Pegram all of Spindale; fiancé, Rodney Pegram of Ellenboro; four brothers, Randy Carson, Jeff Carson, Gary Carson all of Caroleen and Roger Carson of Richmond, VA; five sisters, Debbie Passmore of Hendersonville, Lisa Henderson of Shelby, Audrey Waters of Columbus, Jean Paris of Spartanburg and Rita Cochran of Landrum. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Alex Rolph and Jayden Kiser.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Bob Philbeck officiating. Interment will follow in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Harrelson Funeral Home, 1251 US Highway 221A, Forest City, NC 28043 to help defray funeral costs.
