Cindy Trotter

Cindy Hardin Trotter, age 52, of Ellenboro, died Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at the Rutherford Regional Medical Center.
Born September 13, 1965 in Rutherford County, she was a daughter to the late Mike "Sharkie" Hardin and Patsy Buchanan. Cindy worked for various local textile mills for many years. Her love for the beach led her to live and work in Vero Beach, Florida for several years. Her caring heart and love was exhibited by becoming the family's primary caregiver. Cindy enjoyed playing games and having fun with her family and grandchildren. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.
Those left to cherish her memory include three daughters, Jessica Melton Stranahan (Robert) of Vero Beach, FL, Stacie Melton (Tydyarl Bristol) of Ellenboro and Haley Mendoza (Marcos) of Forest City; a son, T.J. Trotter (Bianca) of Rutherfordton; two sisters, Sharon Hardin and Jodie Hardin (Craig) all of Ellenboro and one brother, Michael Hardin of Forest City. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Dawson Luna, Greyson Stranahan, Kimsey Bristol, Kendrick Bristol, Marcos Mendoza, Jr., Janie Mendoza, Addily Trotter, Cohen Trotter and a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Steven Cooper officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
