Clara W. Wilson, age 84, of Forest City, died Thursday, January 4, 2018 at her residence.
Born January 15, 1933 in Elizabethton, Tennessee, she was a daughter to the late Clifford Woods and Barty Perry Woods. She worked for Clarkins Department Store for over twenty years before retirement and was of the Baptist faith. Clara played a very active role in her family and loved each one dearly. She also served as a delegate and representative of the AFL-CIO.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband of forty one years, Fred R. Wilson and a second husband, Edward Wolfy. She was also preceded by one son, Fred Wilson, Jr. and brother, Leonard Woods.
Those left to cherish her memory include two sons, Dennis Wilson (Paula Carson) of Chicago, Illinois and Roger Wilson (Gail) of Forest City; two daughters, Gina Cochran (Jeff) and Pamela Frank (Terry) all of Canton, Ohio; two sisters, Francis Zelina and Patricia Holland (Bill). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A gathering of remembrance will be held on a later date.
