Clarence “Brint” Lavender, age 83, of Ellenboro, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Atrium Health-Cleveland.
Brint was born January 22, 1937 in Rutherford County to the late Charles Lavender and Ada Price Lavender. He was a graduate of Ellenboro High School, class of 1955. He worked as a carpenter most of his life and played an integral part in the construction of many local structures. He was a past member of Corinth Baptist Church and enjoyed attending Southern Gospel Concerts with his wife. Brint was an excellent woodworker and was creative in his skill. He loved riding motorcycles and especially spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five sisters and a brother.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of sixty-two years, Barbara Lavender; son, Dale Lavender (Donna) of Shelby; sister, Sue McKeithan of Bostic and four grandchildren.
To honor his wishes, no formal services will be conducted.
