Clifford Murray

Clifford 'Buren' Murray, age 55, of Collins Avenue, Forest City, NC, died July 25, 2012 at his residence.
Clifford was born June 11, 1957 in Cleveland County, NC to Clifford Murray and the late Oler Mae Smith Murray. He was a graduate of Shelby High School, class of 1975 and worked for Mastercraft for almost twenty years and Watts Water Technology for many years. He was a member of Caroleen Missionary Methodist Church. He enjoyed NASCAR, guns and cutting grass. He was a kind and loving man with a wonderful sense of humor. He also loved his dogs, June Bug and Daisy.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his in-laws, Dale H. Holland and Dorothy W. Holland.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Mae Holland Murray; two sons, Jeremy Buren Murray of Lockhart, TX and Christopher Rhyne Murray and wife, Carol of Lexington, NC; one daughter, Jessica Celeste Murray and significant other, Brandon Wright of Bessemer City, NC; one sister, Evelyn M. Jacob and husband, Abe of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Kaelyn Grace Murray and Cooper Lee Murray both of Lockhart.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 29, 2012 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Ricky Poteat and Reverend Jerry Hames officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
