Coleen Mauney

E. Coleen Mauney, age 80, of Poors Ford Road, Rutherfordton, passed away Friday, November 17, 2006, at her home. She was born September 18, 1926 in Cleveland County, North Carolina to the late Crawford Durham Wall and Rebecca Daisey Ledbetter Wall. She had been a long-time resident of Rutherford County. She was an accomplished seamstress, and was a long-time member of Adaville Baptist Church.

Mrs. Mauney is survived by her husband of 60 years, Leon Mauney of the home; a son, Robert Mauney of Cliffside, NC; three daughters, Anna Hudson of Polk County, NC, Rebecca Moore of Rutherfordton, NC, and Patricia Craft of Orange Park, FL. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
