Connie "Nannie" Balderstone, 89, of 888 Morrow Motor Road, Forest City died Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at the Hospice House of Forest City. Connie was born in Paris, Canada and was a native of Flint, Michigan. She was a daughter of the late Earnest Reynolds and Pearl Frost Reynolds and the widow of the late Eric Balderstone. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Dorinda Balderstone and a brother, Rod Reynolds. Connie worked as a machine operator. She will be known for her exceptional ability for craftwork. She was a devout Christian who loved to read scripture and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include one daughter, Bobbi Allen and her husband Tom of Forest City; two sons and their wives, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Balderstone of Otisville, Michigan and Mr. and Mrs. Bradley Balderstone of Ellenboro; three grand-daughters, Tammy Johnson and her husband Mike of Forest City, Timberly Gregory and her husband Bill of Glenn Springs, SC and Elizabeth Myers and her fiancé Michael McCain of Ellenboro; two step-grandsons, Andrew Vought of Bostic and Sgt. and Mrs. Jeffery Vought of Okinawa, Japan; three great-grandchildren, Jolene Johnson, Tommy Johnson and Aurora Gregory; two step great-grandchildren, Christina Vought and Haley Vought; one sister, Pat McLeod of Bradenton, FL and several nieces and nephews.
